This is classic GOP-e/Bush-era thinking. If we are just nice to Democrats and remain civil they won't chop our political heads off or sabotage us at every turn. Was Jeb off the planet during his brother's presidency? You know, where the Democrats flogged him mercilessly every single day, and all the while George W. Bush refused to fight back or to say an ill word towards Democrats!
