That's like saying we shouldn't punish crime, or even try to do something about it, because tomorrow they are gonna come after accountants and fishmongers. Not at all saying that. In my part of the country, LE will often do roundups and make arrests. Only, they have done investigations, gathered evidence and intel and, SHAZAM! gotten a warrant. Criminals get arrested, get a trial and get punished. In that order.
