A second submariner pleaded guilty Wednesday to sharing videos of female officers undressing for a shower, continuing a case that a prosecutor calls a "black eye" for the Navy's integration of women into the nation's sub fleet.
Electronics technician Joseph Bradley entered his guilty pleas in a court-martial trial and was sentenced to 30 days' confinement and a reduction in rank.
Bradley received the videos after they were secretly recorded by another sailor aboard the USS Wyoming nuclear submarine based at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Georgia, prosecutors say.
Bradley admitted in a plea agreement to sharing the images with other sailors.

OMG, this is the ship for which I went to the christening.
This is no knock itself against women, but it’s another reason not to have women in combat position, least of all on ships.
My thinking is if women are to be in combat, they should be in their own units, period. There should be no mixing. Too much mischief happens, including pregnancy worst of all. Ideally there would be none.
I guess the bright side of this sordid tale is, at least it wasn’t homo stuff!

Even on boomers, a submarine is close quarters. What are they supposed to do on a fast attack boat where most of the sailors’s bunks are crammed along passageways, and are transmitted routinely to access different parts of the ship. What about the junior sailors that are berthed on temporary bunks in the torpedo room?
Men and woman six months at sea on a submarine. What could go wrong?

Why would anyone have to video anything if they are already doing unit cohesion showering?

My ship was the first combat ship to get women. I got out in July of 1993.
Our military has been degraded and the populace celebrates it.
“Operation Petticoat” was released in 1959, depicting men & women together on a pink submarine. When they are attacked by a U.S. destroyer thinking they’re Japs, the sub commander collects all the gals’ bras & fires them out the torpedo tube.
The destroyer crew recovers the bras and noting the cup sizes they shout “The Japs have nothing like this! Cease fire, cease fire!!”
Fast forward and....once more...truth is stranger than fiction, on board a Navy submarine.
I can see it now , a submarine manned by dozens of Cheryl Mills and Lena Dunham sycophants
