Oxycodone is the drug prescribed for my kidney stone pain. I was given dozens of them, and used them only a couple of times. The last time I took the prescribed dose—anticipating an attack that didn't come—I was transported to a entirely pain-free afternoon—not realizing how much "normal" pain I'd been living with daily. From reading, Oxycodone is no longer prescribed so generously.

Rush Limbaugh got addicted to an even more powerful prescribed drug from the same drug family—Oxycontin. I can understand his addiction, and it could happen to anyone.
