the system in effect before Obama worked well. It needed some tweeking like expanding medicare to cover the poor underinsured and uninsured, and erasingstate borders for insurances costs. A simple program to cover the big ticket cases shouldn’t cost all that much to cover individual catastrophes.
Except for ruining the currency, inflating the unfunded liabilities of the government to >$200 trillion, and requiring constant borrowing to fund current accounts, it was perfect!
