Texas tough people live here. From 1684 homes burned to the ground in the Bastrop wildfire of September 4-5, 2011, part of a vicious seven year drought that had the Wichita Falls area recycling sewage water for drinking water this spring, and now the incredible floods that have pounded 80% of the state in May...yet neighbors help neighbors, and Texans overcome these tragedies together. That’s what we love about Texas.
