Must all be fans of the New York Tribune Infamous Correspondent. Yes, I said the NY Tribune,..that later became the NYT. Oh yes that name,... You know it, Karl Marx.

The Tribune did not become the Times, which was founded as the New York Daily Times ten years after Horace Greeley founded the former. The two papers coexisted and were in competition. Not to mention, they were both founded by Whig Party (and later GOP) members.
