I hadn’t thought of that. But both my elderly parents gave up their driver’s licenses. Without family they’d also have to give up their home and move years early to a more expensive location. I was thinking what would happen to us kids who will not have any close family in our declining years. Very scary. Perhaps self driving cars are the answer.
If someplace is more than a 6 hour drive, many people would prefer to fly.
What if it is a 12 hour drive, but I can sleep for 8 hours of it in my back seat and watch Netflix for the other 4?
