I’ve done a fair amount of selling used technology on CL from time to time and found people as a rule here in SC fairly good to deal with.

Every so often I browse for sale in my state and Charlotte to see if there is something out there.

I’ve tried selling an old Blazer (bucket of bolts) on Ebay a few times. Either no sales or deadbeat bidders. I may try again on CL. The main reason I have been hesitant is that I don’t like people that I don’t know poking around close to home or offsite storage.

When I was starting with our production company we were looking for laptops initially then connect a screen to them. I was in Valley Village CA as per CL address and one dude was selling laptops from his apartment. Really cheap and to this day 5 years ago, I still have them as they work. He was honest.

I wasn’t really keen on the Dells but they were good. To make a long story short, his sister comes out in full bikini and goes sunbathing right in front of me. She was hot. So in the end, I bought two of them. Morale of the story: I;m easy to deal with. ;)
