What a lame ass article. Has this not been posted before? Just removing the drain plug from a kayak would not kill the guy. He has to know how to swim.... There is more to this story than is presented with this sorry piece of reporting.
Interesting stuff. I use to live in the HV and stil have family there.
She is allegedly a hot-headed, volitile, mail order bride from eastern Europe.
I guess you get what you pay for.
Drain plug in a kayak? She must’ve done something else. Maybe rabbed his skeg and dumped him - might’ve bent it. Ain’t no drain plug in any kayak I’ve ever seen.
The DA in Orange county did’t delay in filing charges. There must be something.
She just wanted his insurance money. In most cases, mail order brides really don’t want anything else.
Aren’t they supposed to wait until they are married to kill the husband?
What killed him?
How about being smacked in the head by a paddle?
Most fishing kayaks have them.
Most kayak paddles are fiberglass: would not have been fatal.
Not sure this is the same style as theirs....
Maybe his ankles were secured together with cinder blocks.
Never kayak with someone Crazier than you are
TT
I guess we will have to wait for the autopsy results to see what the cause of death is. I have to agree that the drain plug on kayak missing seems pretty lame.
Most of the kayaks have foam flotation.
...specifically, she is Latvian.
This action is well known in the South American countries. You become a mail-order bride; get to the USA; marry a citizen; murder the citizen and collect all his money.
Actually know of a case that was for real - woman from Columbia killed her husband believing she would inherit all the family fortune .. it turned out the sister of the victim was the Dual-Heir .. and the new wife got nothing.
Those be called counterweights to us landlubbers but to the navy crowd they are ballast. Get yer act together Berry. LOL
