Nuclear power plant technicians, senior military officers, FBI contractors and an employee of a highly-secretive Department of Defense agency with a Top Secret clearance. Those are just a few of the more than 100 people with sensitive military and government connections that law enforcement is tracking because they are linked to outlaw motorcycle gangs.
A year before the deadly Texas shootout that killed nine people on May 17, a lengthy report by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives detailed the involvement of U.S. military personnel and government employees in outlaw motorcycle gangs, or OMGs. A copy of the report was obtained by The Intercept.
The report lays out, in almost obsessive detail, the extent to which OMG members are represented in nearly every part of the military, and in federal and local government, from police and fire departments to state utility agencies. Specific examples from the report include dozens of Defense Department contractors with Secret or Top Secret clearances; multiple FBI contractors; radiological technicians with security clearances; U.S. Department of Homeland Security employees; Army, Navy and Air Force active-duty personnel, including from the special operations force community; and police officers.

I object to every one of your 'sub-human' related posts. Stop lying.
Just once.
Try it, it can be habit forming, even for an old lead-head like you.
Oh, by the way, I love the irony. Didn't you try to mock me for having no life?
I've been absent for quite a few hours. Looks like you haven't been. Heckuva Memorial Day you've been having, Sparky. LOL at you. :)
I’d be happy if he’d just stop stupidly repeating phrases other posters say, like “you own it”.
If somebody’s gonna be a fascist, at least be an original one.
I feel like I’m watching a Mynah bird evolve.
Then there are those, such as "Texas"Gator, who show pronounced signs of decline.
If this is evolution, we are so screwed.
See you later bro. Places to go; people to be. :)
See you soon my brother. :)
It’s all *your* fault.
You first said “You own it”.
LOL
“Didn’t you try to mock me for having no life?”
That was before I learned of your recovery. Since then I have tried to be very courteous to you.
Oh, God.
Don’t you sex-change me, too, bro!
Have fun.
Himself just informed me my bike is back together and all systems are go.
/happy dance
Give it a rest Blondie.
Lol...of course not, that would be factually untrue.
Reagan enforced the 1964 Civil Rights Act as President... but made sure it was legislators and not agency regulators setting the pace.
Reagan signed an extension to the Voting Rights Act that passed through Congress while criticizing some of the provisions.
Reagan gave liberals grief by shaking up the Civil Right Commission and he slow rolled apartheid sanctions against South Africa...but he was no segregationist.
In other words Reagan struck a reasonable balance between opposing civil rights directly and full throated support.
OTOH you've made it quite clear that today you'd prefer the 1964 Civil Right Act had never passed...which would be a position much more closely ascribed to George Wallace than Ronald Reagan.
The rest of your screed reads like just so much twisted mental projection.
You're the one running around here with the posse....you're the one talking trash behind folks back like a little girl...you're the one chasing ghosts with an angry heart and blaming other people for your own problems...not me.
I'm no psychologist but maybe you should consider getting some professional help...you know...to take a good look inside that big brain of yours and help exorcise those demons.
Feel better soon ok?
You parse like a good Social liberal. Reagan is on record opposing the act when it was proposed vigorously
As well as the King holiday
If you have proof to the contrary then show it
He had no choice but to enFforce it once it was law and he was elected 16 years later
Are you so challenged as to try to extrapolate that he supported it by doing his duty
Quite unlike our first black president who shirks duty and only enforces laws he supported like this one you love
He supports it with a vengeance and enforces it with same vigor
To a casual observer everything for you is tinged with an obsession with redress for blacks
Are you black with a hard on for southerners
Spit it out son be a man
Hell I’d respect you more
Otherwise you’re a naive dumbassed white kid
So far your line of attack is I’m an evil segregationist for thinking the 1964 civil rights act was bad legislation but after we pointed out Reagan Buckley Goldwater felt the same way you resorted to your next heavy weapon that I must therefore be crazy
Is this how you win all these arguments you gloat about
That’s actually funny
You’re amusing me so you’re not a total waste of time
It’s harder these days for you I know...you’re having to scramble to ferret us out
10 years ago you coulda whined to a sympathetic mod to throw you a lifeline cause wardaddy being wacist and picking on you
Thats not working now is it after 6 and a half years of black liberation presidency
In the spirit of southern tact I’ll give you the last word
I know u must have it
I didn’t say they were guilty yet in this case but I have questions
However just theoretically presumption of innocence is for those charged in a courtroom
Not for public discourse
Talking heads erroneously apply that legal standard to opinions of lay people just talking about crimes or probable crimes
The presumption of innocence is for a courtroom and specifically jurors ..,it was never meant to preclude opinions from observers
Bill Clinton was the first Black President. The guy currently in the White House is half White.
“authentic bikers should distance themselves from the criminals”
Yes. Let’s look at Waco from a logical standpoint.
Would LE have been at the biker confederation meeting if there had not been intel about something about to happen between the Bandidos and the Cossaks?
Would LE have been there if the the Bandidos and Cossaks took their trouble elsewhere where there were no non-outlaw bikers?
If LE had not been at the meeting and the Bandidos and Cossaks started trouble, would no one have been shot? Would outlaws only have shot each other? Isn’t this instead the risk which required LE presence?
Would LH have been at the biker meeting if no outlaw gangs were present? NO!
*****Would anyone have been shot at a biker meeting of law-abiding citizens and no outlaw gangs present? NO!*****
Summary:
The reason people were shot at the Waco confederation of clubs meeting IS BECAUSE there were outlaw gangs attending the confederation of clubs meeting.
Blame the outlaw gangs for being there. They are the reason LE was there.
“I didnt say they were guilty yet in this case but I have questions”
Not directly but you said probably.
You said other theories were improbable.
You said the possibility of a Bandidos attack was out the window.
and more.
Somewhere I missed the questions marks ...
What is your take on why no murder charges have been filed over a week after the incident?
There's way too much pro-drugs and pro-criminality here. People have convinced themselves that selling drugs is a God-given right and the "nanny state" and the "pigs" are taking that away from them. This is supposed to be a conservative position on crime?
“What is your take on why no murder charges have been filed over a week after the incident?”
My county has a Clerk of Courts website. The information is available to the public. The case numbers, charges, case schedules etc.should be available from the county Waco is in. I would have to look up what county Waco is in, go to their county website, link to the court, and find out how to access that information. If it is not on-line, it is still available to the public at the Court House itself.
It would be interesting to have an overview of the types of charges filed, when the Grand Jury is going to meet, etc. but frankly I do not have time to analyze 170 cases . . .
