Kimberly Dozier of Daily Beast has an excellent piece today you might not see picked up by many in the Obama-puffing national media: "Special Ops to Obama: Let Us Fight ISIS, Already."
Dozier noted that the official line from top brass in the special forces is that destroying ISIS is a long, inter-generational slog. But while they may well be true, she noted, rank-and-file special forces operators express frustration with President Obama hamstringing their operations here and now:
TAMPA, Florida Fighting simmering frustration in their ranks over ISIS advances in Iraq and Syria, top U.S. special operations commanders say they are building forces for a multi-generational fightnot a war that will be won in the next few years.
We talk about it being a 15-year struggle, Lt. Gen. Bradley Heithold, who heads the Air Force Special Operations Command, said during a special operations forum in Tampa.
But many special operations officers and troops both in Tampa and Washington dont want to wait that long to take the fight to ISIS. They were eager to talk about their aggravation over fighting by remote in Iraq and Syria: having to advise Iraqis, Kurdish Peshmerga, and rebel Syrian fighters from afar instead of joining them in battle.
We are doing everything through cellphones Its hard to do much when you cant go outside the wire, said one special operator, using the military jargon for the perimeter of a base.
They blame the hands-off approach on an Obama administration unwilling to risk even small numbers of American lives in battle, burned by the fallout of the loss of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, and intent on preserving the legacy of President Barack Obamas troop drawdowns in Iraq and Afghanistan.
You cant say Were with you every step of the way, except when you are going on combat operations, said a former senior special operations official briefed on the ISIS campaign.
He and many other officers, current and former, at the conference believe both Mosul and Ramadi could have withstood the assault of the so-called Islamic State, also known as ISIS, if a small number of U.S. military advisers had been working with Iraqi forces at the front lines.
They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss the debates over war strategy.
Not even Thomas Jefferson could have foreseen a MUzzie in Chief atop this nation.
Why would anyone join a military commanded by its enemy?
zer0’s hatred of America equals that of ISIS.
We need a military revolt against this traitor.
it’s not only Obama , but the entire cabal of pro-muslim collaborators that he surrounds himself with .
A group of national heroes need to walk into that office and set them all straight ; about what it is to be real Americans and do their jobs in defending the country
it’s a fine line between looking like you’re doing something to stop terrorism and interfering with their ability to spread the islamic caliphate
Amen!

Did Obama have a 911 Attack rug BEFORE the 911 Atrocities?
Probably.
Did Obama clap as the Twin Towers went down?
... duh ...
Does Obama cheer every beheading, ISIS sighting,
every crucifixion, every attack on US (ex) ally?
It usually took one generation. Of course immigrants used to (and some still do) make it a point to speak English at home, even if they didn’t speak it well, and taught their kids that America is the greatest country on earth where anyone can be successful. Obama’s commie mother and grandparents and Muslim step-father taught him that America and Western Civilization are evil and the cause of all the suffering in the third world.
I can imagine there’s alot in the military and defense sectors that would love to be able to say what’s on their mind.
Good question - maybe that’s why the Military is all keen on signing up illegal aliens. Anyone paying attention would not join up under this Regime.
Our PINO is not ‘hamstringing’ - he out and out is sabotaging any efforts remaining in this military to fight Islam. Aiding & Abetting is what we have here.
If only Soetoro cared that much about our troops - whoever says such things should be laughed at openly and loudly before you walk away avoiding an assault and battery charge.
The Mahdi is pro-Islime, however, and this is what isn't much picked up on, he and even more the CIA chief Brennan who sold him on Arab Spring, thought they were the Wizards of Smart. They were going to use the template the CIA started perfecting with Solidarity in the 80’s and then the color coded ‘revolutions’ in the 90’s in places such as Georgia to pacify the Arabs. The mechanism was going to be stirring up ‘popular Islam-ism’ to either topple ‘oppressive’ anti-Islamist regimes such as Gaddafi’s or firmly implant a Muslims who were Islamists in places such as Egypt. Soon with a bit of fighting Muslims would be enjoying the blessings of stable popular Islamic regimes and the US fingerprints would be nigh invisible. The Saudis with some reservations went along with this and made up their quarrel with the Muzzie Brothers and provided a lot of petro dollars for the effort. To SA the prospect of toppling the Shia regime in Iraq and getting rid of the heretical Assad regime in Syria seemed to be an excellent idea as it served both orthodox Sunni interests and would cripple Iran's reach into the Middle East.
Unfortunately, and this is the amazing part that the Beltway types thought they were so smart they could orchestrate this operation, we are dealing with Arabs and the Middle East. Instead of some sort of sophisticated hidden hand Cardinal Richelieu style operation we have the ‘Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ enacted on a grand scale. Official DC is absolutely dumbfounded at the tidal wave of armed chaos it has unleashed. BHO and his crew have no real ideas about what to do about it other than look lame and they are equally at a loss as to what do about pieces of the chessboard from the Baltic to the South China Sea starting to move in disturbing and ominous ways. BHO is a leftist who doesn't much like the USA but he is also a psuedo-intellectual completely out of his depth in a world of profound cultural differences and real politic players such as Putin and the Chinese. He will be gone but really bad things are going to come out of the witch's brew he has cooked up.
Uhhhh...ROI...I give up....Rumors of Ineptitude?
You have to remember who controls the media. The elections.
And ask why?
Why would anyone even begin to believe this big pile of ODumbo in the first place .. Mass indoctrination, party loyalty?
And to what end? Political?
NO, all things end up as physical encounters if anything ever gets resolved on the battlefield. Both of ideas and presence.
When it comes to meeting the call for freedom and liberty, supposedly for All, Obammy does not meet the standard WE ought expect from a sane and rational leader.
His words speak as loudly as his actions .. And inactions.
Amen. Saud finally got a baby forkful of karmic medicine yesterday: ISIS bombed a mosque inside THEIR wire.
