The Civil War was not fought over “just”, slavery.
But it was a major major factor.
The confederacy could have won the war, but they weren’t willing to give up their white and black slaves.
I’m not embarrassed either. You should be for supporting shortsighted lunatics that would rather be able to keep slaves, instead of giving America the freedom it deserved.
