Yeh right, but when I called them back to rip them a new one all I got was a busy signal the few attempts I made.

Don't call back scammers or missed phone calls you don't know, or you may be calling a premium service phone number, for example a phone-sex number, and find you have a phone bill for $50, $100 or whatever they can get away with. A common scam is for someone to call your phone and let it ring once or twice and hang up. Most people call the number back, and they get taken to the cleaners. Don't call numbers you don't know.

On another note, if you come back to your car after it was sitting in a parking lot, and you find a small note on your windshield or back window, lock your doors and move to another location before you get out to see what the note is. Most people get out right away and someone will dive into your car and take your belongings. If you had started your car, and then got out to retrieve the note, which is common, a car jacker waiting nearby can then slip in and take your car and belongings.

There's all kinds of set-ups taking place now taking advantage of our good nature or common behavior.

Good advice. I take it one step further. If you call and you are not in my phone directory, I don’t answer. Ever.

You can leave a message, but 99% of the time I’m not calling you back.

Oh, and if you send me an e-mail and I don’t know you. I delete it. If you send me an e-mail and I DO know you and the subject does not make sense, I delete it. Simple.
