True about the bedrooms. I didn’t think it thru that far...
One thing from the show jumped to my mind (when I first read of this horrible story). The entire family was driving to visit another “quiver full” family. They had two vans (and used walkie talkies to communicate.) Jim Bob drove one, and teenage Josh drove the other one, NOT the adult parent, Michelle. I just found it weird. Why let a NEW driver take the wheel with half the kids of the family in it; while the other parent just “say.” It’s so minor, but I think it speaks to the family dynamic.
Certainly questionable situations. I have no patience for people that do non-consent sex/touching to: kids, vulnerable adults, and animals.
It adds a painful dynamic when it’s a family member.
