As the crusaders ...
So what's the big deal about this you ask? A reasonable question I admit. Here is why it's a big deal:
1. During the Crusades, armies from Christian Nations went to the Middle East to battle the armies of Islam.
2. Now we find outselves, we Christian Nations, sending our armies to the Middle East to battle the armies of Islam.
3. It appears that after many, many, many centuries, nothing has changed.
So ask yourself, why don't we call our wars in the Middle East The Crusades or the 21Century Crusades or something like that? That's what they are. Why don't we call ourseles Crusaders. That's what we are.
Language is important. ISIS realizes that but we don't. That just struck me as more MSM madness, more Political Correctness, More Obama. Give the evil ISIS some credit for at least being brave enough to properly recognize who their enemy is. Unfortunately our political class and our media have no such capability.
One could argue that the original Crusaders were more pious than anyone alive today.
