“Meanwhile, the “non-Associated” bikers like the Veterans, or the Christian Bikers group, are still being held on million dollar bonds. “
What were they doing at a gang meeting?
Same thing as the waitresses and cooks, I guess. You know this happened at a public restaurant attached to a strip mall, right?
“What were they doing at a gang meeting?”
Turns out that it wasn’t a “Gang meeting”, it was an Association meeting to discuss a proposed new Motorcycle law.
There is a biker club that hangs out at my municipal golf course on Sundays. I always wonder why, if they are not criminal, do the wear all the trappings of criminals? If I were an upstanding biker I would be doing what I could to disassociate myself from the criminal element.
This event in Waco was regular thing where criminals were known to congregate. I would think that avoiding places where two large biker gangs congregate would be common sense but it seems that many want to be associated with such a culture. To me this is no different that going to Hip Hop night when you know the Bloods and Crips are both going to show up. I have very little sympathy for the “bystanders” who find themselves in jail while the cops sort things out.
It was not a “gang meeting”.
It was a regularly scheduled meeting of the Confederation of Clubs.
I’d say witnessing the Gospel of Christ.
Luk 5:31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
Luk 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Maybe some of the Christian bikers used to be gang members until someone talked to them about Christ and now they are doing the same?
