Nobody really “stands on the Ten Commandments.” That was a dispensation for the Hebrew people and deliberately formed a test that God knew anyone who attempted it would fail.
So what people are really standing on is their own approximation to it.
People need to be standing once more on Jesus, which is not a bunch of rules but a Savior.

I think that is absolutely false. There is NOTHING in the original Ten Commandments that is as difficult to live up to as Jesus's command to "love your enemy," or his prohibition of divorce. Compared to "love your enemy," the Ten Commandments are pretty easy.
