Congratulations to everyone who recognized King Jan Sobieski of Poland and the Winged Hussars at the gates of Vienna.
It is also worth noting that two Poles (Lech Walesa and Pope John Paul II) also played pivotal roles in the collapse of the Soviet Union along with Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Brian Mulroney and other world leaders who came on stage at that critical juncture.
