If the Iraqi government is not capable of maintaining an army willing to fight for their own country against an enemy like ISIS then it is a waste of our time, effort, money, and most importantly lives to send our people there to do it for them.
“537 days”
Five hundred plus days?? Best argument for the existence of purgatory I’ve ever seen.
Thanks raptor22.
Conservatives are rushing to pin all the blame for Ramadi on Obama. But, even more, the Iraqi army needs to clean up its act. This may require their sending the corrupt, the incompetent, and the cowardly to the firing squad. I think the Iraqis can, and will eventually, rehabilitate their army; but we should keep the pressure on them by not rushing to bail them out and blame ourselves every time they fail.
