Bullets ricocheted around the parking lot of Twin Peaks, the Waco restaurant where a motorcycle gang shootout left nine dead, just minutes after Theron Rhoten pulled in on his vintage Harley chopper for a regional motorcycle club meeting, according to Rhotens wife. Katie Rhoten told The Associated Press that her husband ran for cover and was later arrested, along with antique motorcycle enthusiast friends and other nonviolent, noncriminal people. Authorities swept up around 170 bikers who had descended on the restaurant for what one club member described as a gathering to discuss laws protecting motorcycle riders.... McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara and Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton declined to comment Tuesday on allegations that innocent bikers were arrested.

Sgt. Swanton was called on his 1000 weapon count and had to dial it back a few hours later to about 250. He’s been a camera hog since the first hour and ranks right up there with obama in ability to tell the unvarnished truth. Hey, those military grade high velocity automatic nail clippers don’t get past him.

Very well said ... some of these self righteous asses condone and even celebrate the killing and arrest of bikers whoss only crime may be just being there. Had this been at the CoC in Arizona I would have been there. These could easily been my friends and brothers. 170+ in a mass arrest each one having their bike confiscated. How is that anywhere near American. Then we get these clueless idiots out here making judgements and talking out there rear ends about something they know little or nothing about. Screw these pathetic little jerks
Let's throw this out there for a moment.
A patch is private property.
A patch is also protected First Amendment expression.
Nearly a dozen killed and over a score wounded by State gunfire.
Targets appear to be selected based on the possession of lawful private property and the public expression of a protected statement.
The clear case can be made that Americans were killed for their speech.
"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury..." The Fifth Amendment was just pissed on with the revolving door mass charging of 170 citizens with capital offenses.
And don't give me "public danger". That danger - the barrage of murderous automatic State gunfire on a lawful citizen assembly, following the insertion of agents provocateur by said State, created that danger.
This is a test. This is not only a test.
It's a testing in production. That's done when the implementation entity is in haste.
Respects.

Yeah, a wallet chain is exactly what I would wade into a gunfight with. Or a stabbing melee. Or to stop someone, even, from using a nail clipper on their feet at the restaurant table next to me. Presumably counting ring sets as "brass knuckles" - one ring, one brass knuckle, and heck doesn't that just swell the metrics nicely. All fat and turgid and pregnant with biker menace.
Just like "arsenal" and "thousands of rounds" of ammunition.

It sure seems that I have spent more qualtiy time with Bandidos than you, or anyone here.
I see you as one of those groupie types, subservient to them, one who thinks they are cool, you keep fawning over outlaw biker gangs.
As far as my take on the shooting event, I’m waiting to learn what happened.

Doesn't seem that way to me. You make too many culture-specific mistakes for me to ascribe any credibility to your claims of knowledge where motorcycle clubs, particularly 1%ers, are concerned.

Ok dude, I call bullshit. Point out and quote me where I "fawned over an outlaw biker gang".
As far as my take on the shooting event, Im waiting to learn what happened.
Any concern with the facts at this point, as they may or may not contrast with the rights of free men?

So far I am the only one here who has had a Bandido roommate and who used to visit their house, and socialize with them go around town with them, and saw their behind the scenes criminal activities.
You never asked my why I kicked out the Bandido for violent cowardice.
It would not fit your fantasies and your hero worship.

Not only did this clown make mistakes that clearly show he's full of BS ... he made mistakes that would get his pathetic ass kicked at any biker function.

No. You're the only one publicly claiming it and advertising it as some sort of credential set on a discussion about civil rights and murderous State aggression.
You never asked my why I kicked out the Bandido for violent cowardice.
Because I'm unimpressed with Internet posers talking about how they stood down a "violent coward" and thereby gained moral judgement over an entire culture. I don't care to mentally masturbate with you. Nothing personal, it's just a waste of time.
From a humor standpoint, though, thanks for the laugh. You must place some really striking Room to Let Ads.
1/2 RENT $550/MONTH
NO SMOKERS
NO COWARDS. ABSOLUTELY NO VIOLENT COWARDS.
CATS OK
UTILITIES INCLUDED
NO COLORS
It would not fit your fantasies and your hero worship.
I'll call bullshit on you a second and third time. Post a link to where I "fawned over an outlaw biker club". Post a link to "fantasies" or "hero worship".
I've never belonged to, supported, opposed or even commented on any three piece patch club. I am not privy to and have no opinion on any club business. I ride. I respect those who are deserving of it. You're not showing me here that you deserve more than Bill of Rights entitles you to. I think you're a poser with a problem. Anyone here can disagree and call me out if they think I am out of bounds or in the wrong.
On second thought, that supposed Bandido you "had to kick out" as a roommate "because of cowardice" - violent cowardice, no less... let me guess.
It was over a girl, wasn't it?
Any bets?
To: clamper1797; Robert Teesdale
That’s odd, since belonging to a club, I have attended so many biker functions, and have had many of our non-outlaw club meetings at our local Angel’s bar, and of course the Bandido experiences.
You are so confused in your posts, that you don’t make any sense, other than that you want to pout and lash out about something.
You have refused to discuss your bizarre claim about your “1%” post, and you have been sniping like a girl ever since.
You posted #63, and I posted #95 to you, and you have refused to respond, except to make girlish attacks.
Why is that? why won’t you focus on that post 95?
I’m thinking that a couple of you are in awe of outlaw bikers and are enthralled by them, so you just can’t talk about them in a normal tone, but as though you are speaking about gangs that you look up to and are deferential to.
Your effort with the 1% crack, is a reflection of that.

*”It was over a girl, wasn’t it? Any bets?”*
Why would there be a bet? It did involve a girl, a girl that was just walking down the street, and that none of us knew.
The Bandido walked over to my work next door to borrow my car to go to the Bandido house for a gun, when I asked him why, he said that he had to kill a cowboy in our tiny complex.
It seems that the Bandido had said something to a passing young girl and the cowboy had called him out on it, according to my roommate the cowboy had been banging on my front door to fight, so the Bandido waited until he left and then was going to the main gang house a half mile away to get a gun, well I knew that meant a gun and more Bandidos, and a good man in a lot of hurt.
I told him no, told him that I agreed with the cowboy, I then went and talked to the cowboy, and that night I told the Bandidio to get out, that he was the worst of all worlds to a Texan, too cowardly to answer my door and take his whipping from the real man sticking up for the girl, yet willing to kill as part of his gang.
I don’t know where you guys get your hero worship of the Hell’s Angels and Bandidos, but they are criminal gangs, not bikers.

Re Post 342. I am in total agreement with you on this. I think the state provoked this incident with both their overt AND covert operations. Then when things got out of hand they overreacted ... massively violently and may I say IMO MURDEROUSLY overreacted. Now they are trying to cover it up. Hence the mass arrest ... a "sign the non-disclosure form and we will drop charges and give your bike back" scenario.
As far as our poser friend ... he's probably having a good wank over this just like he did when the FEDS murdered the Branch Davidians

A poser of what? My personal life?
A poser would be doing what you have done for two days, sniping like a girl with personal insults, but totally refusing to discuss the definition of 1%er, although you did post a fake definition.
Do you now agree that the 1% did mean the outlaw gangs?

I saw a report that showed the police impounding all the parked motorcycles and automobiles at the restaurant.135 motorcycles and at least 80 cars and pickups. Hmm, I dunno. Maybe I'm not so good at math but that would mean each biker drove by himself and a few towed a second vehicle, right? That or Sgt. Swanton is over reaching again. Wonder how many pairs of deadly pinking shears from cars parked by JoAnn's Fabrics customers are on the weapons list? Think about the people who now don't have a vehicle to drive to work. Think about the obviously innocent ones in jail who have been let go from their jobs. Job loses, rent can't be paid, kids being picked on at school because daddy is in jail, Mrs. Kravitz yapping to all the neighbors, etc.
Who's going to pay for all the towing and impounding? Waco taxpayers. Who's going to pay for all the jail space? Waco taxpayers. Who's going to pay for the hospital bill? First, the hospital which will pass it down to the Waco taxpayers. Who will pay for the LEO's overtime and outside agencies? Waco taxpayers. Who's going to pay for all the defense attorneys? Waco taxpayers. The local news last night reported that each defense is going to cost at least a million. One would hope the citizens of Waco will demand most charges to be dropped asap. OTOH, if this was orchestrated by the feds, then they'll hand Waco a blank check and the bill still gets sent to us taxpayers.

We used to be able to say this didnt happen in TX Grocery store parking lots. And was until recently we could leave our doors unlocked without worry. Mama was right. Nothing good ever happens after midnight.

You do not sound like any three piece patch holder I have ever met, read or been around. I don't believe you. Riding clubs don't count. Neither does HOG.
You are so confused in your posts, that you dont make any sense, other than that you want to pout and lash out about something.
Seems like some others here are getting my point. With respect to post
#95 that you raise. I'll answer directly even though clamper1797 already did.
"Not if 1%er means outlaw gang, which is what most of us take it to mean."
It doesn't.
You're confusing terms and you're confusing concepts and you're commingling them all in a vapid broth of misunderstanding. I'll offer my $.02 of clarity here.
Not all motorcycle riders are club members.
Not all motorcycle club members are outlaws.
Not all outlaws are 1%ers.
Not all 1%ers are club members.
Not all 1%ers are outlaws.
Not all outlaws are criminals.
Not all 1%ers are criminals.
All 1%er outlaws that are members of motorcycle clubs, ride motorcycles.
Three piece patch clubs, whether 1%er or outlaw or criminal, are not gangs. (You may be factually correct to say that any particular club charter has been adjudicated as a RICO entity, but that still doesn't make it a "gang".)
Outlaw, biker, 1%er, club member, patch holder, criminal, gang member, motorcyclist, are all different things.
Falsely equating concepts is not a good way to build your social declarations. Being imprecise when you are passing judgment is not wise.
The terms "outlaw" and "gang" are somewhat useless. Ask people to define an "outlaw" in America today and you're get 300 million different answers. Ask the same question about a "gang" and you'll get another 300 million variations.
What is a 1%er? I'd say that I would expect a certain type of presence and demeanor; a certain style of speech and temper; may or may not be outward indicators such as a cut or visible ink or an interpretable vehicle sticker; a certain type of philosophical sanguinity about the objective realities of State power v. human freedom; a strong sense of not backing down; and the willingness to bleed for those he cares about. And the willingness to speak his mind without the slightest intimidation of the traumatically microaggressed weaklings that pass for the majority of the body populace today. A refusal to talk to law enforcement, believing through experience that they are merely the jackboot of the State and not your friend from Mayberry. A refusal to place stupid human law over the dignity and freedom of the individual.
A 1%er may be a criminal. He may be an outlaw, too. He may be a club member of a RICO charter. Might be a good guy you'd trust with your kids, or might be an asshole with a drinking problem you wouldn't get within ten insured miles of. Point is... he is a human being, with the same right of freedom as you, and with
probably a better track record of sacrificing for his beliefs and putting his boots where his mouth goes than most people you will meet.
Either way, I don't care if he is a criminal, engaged in RICO activities, associating with other known criminals. We don't fire machine guns into crowds in the United States.
Today's "biker gang member" was yesterday's "Christian gun nut" and tomorrow's "oppositionally defiant veteran". It's just a label from the State to frame their killing as legitimate.
Not every Revolutionary War resource was a wealthy Virginia gentleman. The grunt work of building freedom was done by rough, hard men who demanded to be left alone to live their lives in freedom and were willing to risk hanging en masse for treason and capital murder to get it.
I
am describing alpha behavior, which is scary to the placid. Real freedom comes with real risk. You learn quickly if freedom is really for you, along with learning how to manage risk and capitalize on luck, or you end up in a bag or a slave.
Being a free man... being a slave... both are binary states, either or. You cannot be a little bit free, or a little bit a slave. You're one or the other.
Free men own guns. Slaves don't.
Free men don't suffer democide. Slaves do.
Being a free man, or a slave, is a choice. For me, it is an easy one. I will live free, or die.
Death is not the worst of Evils.
