She was not a communist. Not even her hair was really red.
You nailed it. When she was young she was hot enough to melt lead. When she was on that horrible tv show she was a monster, with a frightening voice and garish lipstick.
Also when Lucy got drunk advertising the liquid vitamin supplement.
Plotting wasn't really their strong point. It was more about nostalgia, the look of the 1960s, and people's affection for the actors or characters.
She certainly was a Communist. She even admitted it.
They held party meetings at her house.
Actually, Draper makes it back to NYC and makes the iconic Coke commercial.
She said she only registered with the Communist Party to please her grandfather.
She was probably a communist except for when it concerned her own money.
It was very funny, especially with Lucy on the ledge with the pigeons.
Lucy and Ethyl at the candy factory. Comedy doesn’t get any better.
“...Ill never forget, ever, how he pretended, ridiculously, to have no idea whatsoever who honey boo boo was.”
That makes at least two of us. I heard mention of it quite some time ago on FR. Still haven’t bothered to do a search even yet.
Superman: Your telling me you’ve been married to this woman for 15 years.?
Ricky: YES YES
Superman: And they call me Superman LOL CLASSIC
The Superman skit was hilarious!
I liked the episode where Lucy went into Labor..they all pretended to be so calm beforehand, but the second she went into labor they all went nuts
Now it’s unusual for a celeb NOT to be a Commie. They just don’t carry cards.
Vita-G or whatever?
That was hilarious. ..
I never understood what Marcia Brady saw in Desi Jr.
Rush does talk about TV a lot.
When I heard of Honey Boo Boo the first time, I had to run an internet search to find out who she is. I still have never seen the show she is on.
I tried watching it, but the excessive smoking grossed me out.
This shows that people are hungry for good wholesome shows.
