I know you very much wish to defend the honor of your country, but your situation is both quantitatively and qualitatively different from ours. To pretend otherwise is just wishful thinking run amok. We have a building backlash growing against all attempts to institute things you've already accepted. My sarcy point was that its easy to ‘know’ things from second hand. Esp the US, which sees generally negative UK headlines (celeb paedos, NHS, UK Muslims).
Look, I get your point, we DO have a problem with Islam here, but neither is it a problem that, contrary to myth Stateside, will actually bring the UK down. Its one we have to deal with, but the UK is not dhimmi or dead or will be.
