Actually the only reason they thrive is that normal people don’t see them as a big threat. If they ever turn outwards, they are easy pickings for cops because they are professionals at making sure they are loud, identifiable, and easily found.
And on bikes, even a little nudge from a car or pickup and that’s lights out.
that’s all true ... but wonder how two million bikers would be handled by those d.c. professionals.
