South Carolina Reciprocity
RECIPROCITY

Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho (Enhanced Only), Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Residents of reciprocal states who hold permits issued by their states of residence may carry concealed firearms in South Carolina, but must abide by the restrictions in the South Carolina CWP law.

My gripe is that they don't do it for Mississippi - I also have to have it locked up if in my vehicle and we all know how that can go if a cop gets a bug in his skivvies...

I only mentioned it because there are a few things about a "Southern" State that don't seem to fit the meme one expects.

I have relatives in SC and hate to have to be unarmed to visit them. Same goes for NY which is a nightmare if one wants to transport a weapon (even following the law is not guaranteed to keep you from trouble - much like New Joisey) and in Ohio, I can open carry, but don't really trust the cops when dealing with "outsiders".

Life is tough - then you die.....
