Agree at this point, but clearly there’s more to this story and the MSM will not pursue it without being forced by gotnews and other outlets.
What do we know so far? He’s claimed amnesia, but:
(i) his head injuries (cuts) don’t appear to be consistent with the kind of trauma required and
(ii) the mayor of Philadelphia himself stated that he “declined” to cooperate with the police and would not submit to questioning — not that he was ‘unable’ to recall anything.
Again, its OK (one is within one’s rights) not to cooperate with the police, but unlike the MSM profile, the implication from the mayor is that he was unwilling, not unable, to cooperate.
If he won’t talk, his dream job as engineer is over forever. If he was not culpable and he elected to cooperate with authorities, he wouldn’t have sacrificed his career.
It all figures he has something to hide.
So the guy’s been a train fan all his life. It just means he likes cabooses.
If I am ever involved in another accident, I hope I’ll have the presence of mind to say “I want a lawyer” and “I’m hurt/not hurt (and where).
Not likely, though. I tend to reconstruct such things verbally in the presence of others. Not a good habit.
