Gotta love the New York Times: this morning the lead story, front page was how "this accident could have been prevented if only there had been enough money for the safety technology" and just under that a puff piece on the engineer Bostian's lifetime love of trains.
Sort of demonstrates that the NYT is totally under the control of the gay mafia. Reminds me of that scene in The Verdict where James Mason sends his legal boys out to write articles in the papers to boost his client's case.
We're looking at the same tactic here.

Blame should be on both the engineer and Amtrak.
