They probably don’t, I was riffing off the recent Maya Angelou stamp debacle.

I didn’t take offense, no apology needed.

I heard on the radio this morning that he (BBKing) said the authentic Lucille was stolen from the trunk of a car some years back.

WOW, I did not know that.

If youd like to take that personally, you are perfectly welcome to. :)
Belligerence your schtick?

"Got a chance to see him about a decade ago, and he wasnt looking good then, he had to sit in a chair for the whole gig, but man, he could still play!"
I saw him about the same time - maybe a bit more recently - and it was a similar thing. He sat most of the time, and I think his son carried about half of the show. I was thinking it was maybe time to put Lucille back in the guitar case, but entertainers like to entertain.

"I thought they didnt do stamps of living people."
I don't think they're supposed to, and it used to be that you didn't name government buildings or Navy ships after living people, but I think those old rules are no longer enforced. I think the purpose of the rule was to avoid third-world type situations in which a person in power or a party in power starts naming things after the Dear Leader.
