Yes. Me either.
I saw a new ad for “The Strain” tonight...”thumbs up”!
It took 9 posts...
The rest of the show is pretty good too. This is the only TV show we watch except for the news and weather.
I fear that Simcoe is about to murder Major Hewlett (sp?) and blame it on the patriots, of course... I know I'll have to wait probably a couple more seasons but I know Simcoe is going to get his in a brutal fashion... ^$... (that's crypto code for a couple of letters together that we don't use that way here at FR...)
It’s a strange voice, isn’t it? The guy can’t really talk like that, LOL.
You should watch “George Washington”, 1984. Barry Bostwick is the epitome of Washington. No one can ever fill that now!
It took me three episodes before I recognized him.
Did he put on pounds just for this role?
Yeah I read he put on considerable weight for the role.
Have loved it since the very first episode.
The guy cant really talk like that, LOL.

That’s not his real voice? He’s good at disguising it, then.
He’s probably one of the best villains I can remember.
So, Wayward Pines was...weird.
TUrn ping
It sounds good. I’ve never watched it but I do get PBS. I just scrolled through an entire week’s programming and didn’t see Wolf Hall so the series must be over. I’ll try the internet link.
I’ve been watching WH and it’s good. I THINK it is only 6 episodes. Have Episode 6 recorded from last Sunday but haven’t watched yet. I don’t know how they can wrap it up that quickly. If it’s not on this coming Sunday, it’s over. boo.
Just checked PBS. Yes, only 6 episodes in SEASON 1. More seasons to come.
See post #81 for an internet site that has all six. If you want to watch them again. lol
Looks like I can catch up there.
And for a look at what we’ve become, try Netflix’ House of Cards starring the talented Kevin Spacey as the totally corrupt Speaker of the House (Dem) Frank Underwood, who stops at nothing to get ahead. Even his initials carry the message:)
I got seasons 1 and 2 from the library.
Oh NO!!
I did NOT know that.
Thanks!
I’ve decided I’m a TV buff of a few shows, because we now have a nice flat panel T.V., and because we rarely go to the walk-in movies, and because time’s awastin’, and because I’m a night owl, and because - because - catch ya later - - -
The first of the series is over......6 episodes
.....but it’s a trilogy......there will be part 2 next season.....called ‘Bringing Up The Dead
I think it does play in reruns though.
Thanks for the review. Is it 1&done for you?
I recorded it and will watch later tonight/tomorrow.
No, I’ll watch again. If only to know what’s going on, which I read will be revealed by episode 5 or so.
