Cruz voted YES, as did Lee, Paul, Sessions, and the rest.

Ted introduced an amendment that prevents the bill’s provision for migrants to skirt existing US immigration law. In other words, his amendment stops an end-run around the current preliminary injunction that blocks Obama’s Executive Amnesty. This is the main reason Obama wanted this bill so bad because he wants to import a 5 million to 11 million voting bloc that will tilt the 2016 elections in favor of progressives.

Ted’s amendment should pass unless McConnell can find a way to strip the bill of Ted’s amendment. If McConnell can do that, then the only way Ted wins the presidency in 2016 is if massive massive MASSIVE amounts of patriots come out of every nook and cranny and vote. The importation of this huge progressive voting bloc is really the end game for Obama’s fundamental transformation.

Ted will vote YES on the rest of the bill because he is a believer in Reaganomics which I think is not as applicable today as it was in 1981. But it gives the President extraordinary powers until 2018 so Ted can use that power if he wins the presidency. And if as president he does not ask that it be renewed in 2018, it goes bye-bye.

The question is what can Obama do with the trade power without the power to forge ahead with the importation with his illegal voting bloc?
