Gotnews.com has independently identified the engineer at the center of the Amtrak crash that has killed at least seven.
Brandon Bostian is the 32-year-old gay man who lawyered up after a deadly derailment in Philadelphia. The train was reportedly going twice the speed limit.
ABC 6 previously reported that “Brandon Boshan,” not Brandon Bostian, was to blame for the deadly crash. (They have since taken down the link.)
Bostian is a gay activist who previously worked at Target as a cashier before joining Amtrak, according to his LinkedIn.

That might be correct. My main point was to wait for an investigation to happen. Some of the comments on here are ridiculous.
That was my take when the NTSB issued the preliminary timeline. Why so fast? Why so slow to hit the brakes?
While that could involve a host of things as distractions, I am hoping someone got samples for toxicology from the driver in a reasonable amount of time (before some of the faster-moving metabolites might have cleared out of his system).

The Acela Express trains travel up to 150 miles per hour on a short stretch in New England, and the top speed between New York and Washington is 135 miles an hour. The Northeast Regional trains (like Train 188) operate at up to 125 mph. It's quicker and easier than driving.
The Northeast Corridor track is pretty straight north of that curve until the train reaches Newark.

A few years ago there was another accident caused by some gay guy texting his main squeeze instead of doing his job got a few killed too.
The situation where the brakes are full on in the turn may have contributed to the loco leaving the tracks.

there was a trolley driver in Boston who was a woman pretending to be a [very fat ugly] man who crashed a trolley car and killed some people while she was texting her girlfriend. The driver had a horrible record and was probably still on the job only because of her politically protected sexual appetites and gender pretensions.

Agreed....His sexual orientation is not relevant. What he was or was not doing leading up to the crash is what is relevant. No reason for jokes...people died on that train

Looks like the only statistic there that might be relevant is the one about traffic accidents, but even that is a stretch. After all, when they calculate those statistics, they count all fatalities from traffic accidents, whether you were the driver, passenger, or a pedestrian, whether you were at fault or not. So we can’t even say that it means they caused more accidents, due to the way those stats are tallied.
