I have reservations about Kelly but will vote for him. I’ve had a democrat congressman before, with any Republican there’s always some hope they’ll see the light or at least bow to constituent pressure. I expect him to be much like the late Congressman Nunnelee who supported Boehner. Kelly answered several questions with he could be trusted to vote his conscience, I’ve been hearing that from politicians for over fifty years, they say they’re listening to constituents but the lobbyist, house leadership and political bosses (Haley Barbour) are the last ones to have their ear. Support for Boehner and not voting for CRs without appreciable spending cuts were two of his “I can be trusted to vote my conscience”. The Nunnelee family supported him.

It seems the holder of this seat always congress out of Tupelo. I will vote for Kelly, but will be watching him and who knows he might be primaried next year. Ross could have done better, but the tea party got in late. Glad Tagert the carpet bagger is out though. Many people lost serious money on this with ads, Jones, Tagert, Collins, Pirkle. I never saw a Kelly commercial though
