Lizzy is smart enough to know that, without the support of the oligarchs, she’ll never get past the shiny new spikes on the White House fence.
She’s establishing her bona fides as the populist anti-Hillary. The oligarchs don’t give a fig what she says, as long as she does what’s expected of her when the time comes. And she will.
