I think we need to compromise on wherever Ted was born and focus on the issues/GOPE Speak
Right? That is what the left wants us to do right? Focus on the issues?
Throw their modus operandi back at them!
BUMP!
Cruz, which is not a surprise
“I think we need to compromise on wherever Ted was born and focus on the issues/GOPE Speak”
In every election for the last half century people have been telling me how it is so utterly necessary to “compromise” on fundamental principles to elect the lesser of two weevils — make that evils. If you look back over that half century you can see making all of those “compromises” ultimately failed to preserve the Constitutional freedoms and powers we were bequeathed by the Founding Fathers.
It is also remarkable to see how we are repeatedly being told our available selection of candidates is somehow always limited to candidates who are first and second generation foreign citizens or unindicted criminals, when the United States has a population of over 300 million people among who can be found tens of millions of people who are adults who have no foreign citizenship themselves or among their parents and are not unindicted criminals. If we were to follow the origins and characteristics of many or most of these candidates, anyone could be forgiven for drawing the conclusion that U.S. Citizens somehow considered their true native sons and daughters having no hint or possibility of foreign bias were somehow considered to be unfit to govern themselves and each other. It is more than passing strange that people who call themselves conservatives somehow never get around to acknowledging U.S. citizens having no foreign relationship or interest are never allowed to be offered as a candidate for President, unless he or she is a crook.
The flip side of the coin would be to insist for the next fifty years that any and every candidate has to have no foreign citizenship themselves, no foreign citizenship among the parents, no foreign interests to bias the candidate, and no background as another dishonest and unindicted criminal political candidate; whether or not it could be argued the candidate was eligible under the Constitution.
