It isn't because of what a Christian believer is doing or not doing right. It's because He really really really likes His one and only Son Jesus Christ a whole bunch. And we belong to God now, if the Spirit of Christ lives in us.

True...However... for a very long time now this “Nation” has been undeserving of His mercy where once we were blessed.... which HE ‘continues’ to show us every day.
