You left out it is only Bourbon if it is made in Kentucky.

Nope. Bourbon can be made anywhere in the United States. If you want to label something as Kentucky Bourbon, then it must be made in Kentucky (unlike Kentucky Fried Chicken, it's not the method, it's the location).

FWIW: KFC is quite different in Canada, much leaner than the fat-dripping American original. I get an earful every time my Montreal-raised wife has some here.
