If they put up Jeb, vote for the Democrat. Make it an atom bomb slam! They need to get their fingers burned so hard, they pull back stumps! That's stupid. That's beyond stupid. That will encourage the GOP to force upon us candidates even more to the left.
Either vote third-party, if one of those candidates suits your requirements, or write in who you really support. If Jeb gets the nomination, I will (for the first time in my life) vote for someone other than the Republican candidate. I will write in Ted Cruz.
Imagine the signal we would send if so many write-in ballots were cast that neither "major" candidate even got close to 50%. Even better (I know I'm dreaming now), imagine if Jeb came in third behind "None of the above". That would send a signal.
In the meantime, work hard to make sure Jeb isn't the candidate. That would be the best message of all.
Which they are doing every year anyway. The only question is do we go quickly, and perhaps have a chance at provoking outrage and backlash, or do we go slowly, and give people time to get accustomed to the latest new outrage?

I'd rather be blown apart then burned to death. I don't want to go through the slow roasting of a Jeb Presidency, i'd rather go through the explosive combustion of a Hitlery Presidency.

You aren't going to send any sort of signal because the third party was never a threat, and you will never get enough people casting votes for a third party to even register on the GOPe.
The only game you can play is whip saw.

And we can agree on that.
