To: Eric in the Ozarks

What is the marginal impact on burning a ton of coal on the GDP in the year of burning? In subsequent years (I just discovered that there are rail and OTM manufactured over 70 years ago still in daily use)?

There is a war on against carbon fuels, gas included. There are actually people who believe we’ll all benefit from strangling our power grid.
