"All of that being said, it seemed to me that "Dr. Mom," smelling hot food in First Class, decided that her "child" just had to have some or she might become out-of-control, biting and scratching everyone in sight!!! Airline was totally in the right to boot not only 15 year old but also Dr. Mom, and charged her for a First Class airline ticket to boot, if that's what it took to get that hot meal (I had a hot meal in First Class once and I'd not have badgered anyone for another!) This mom should probably be charged with negligence for not providing her own autistic 15 year old with food - my daughters at 15 could out eat many professional football players, so that would have taken not one but three "First Class hot meals!"

Are you for real or was your post a parody? Do you thing a mother with an autistic child would "smell" hot food and want to get some for free? If you really have daughters I grieve that you are raising them without awareness that some families have children with special needs and a little human compassion is a sign of civilized society

Did you not read the "rest of the story!"

This mom demanded airline personnel give her 15 year old daughter a "hot first class meal" or threatened the girl would "scratch others" to get some food, as she was "hungry."

I was merely making the point that that mom (a Doctor no less,) should have thought enough of her own daughter to have brought some food herself to feed her own child!

What are you talking about lady, had you read the rest that I was responding to????

Either read the story and the dialogue or stay out of it - you've made no sense at all.
