This is what Socialist aka Liberal believe in EQUALITY. Except some are more equal than others. Uncle Fidel has shown that yet there are morons who support this man, sheesh.

“...yet there are morons who support this man.”
There are millions who support, revere and idolize the POS.

Socialism and communism are the perfect soil for narcissists to advance themselves. Like magnets to iron, narcissists are drawn to whatever paths allow them to augment their personal importance, and to feed their narcissistic needs. Castro is just another narcissistic a*****e. There is an abundance of them in the world. What a great ‘gig’ for him. Promote a societal structure in which the ability of others to promote themselves through their own talents and efforts is repressed, and appoint yourself the savior of all the ‘little people’. A nice formula for total control and suppression of anyone more talented than you. Nirvana for a narcissist. The island and house are just accouterments.

Note that the article said visitors to the island were rare.
But he claimed two notable Americans visited: Ted Turner and Barbara Walters.

That’s okay.
Fidel will have nothing but misery in hell for eternity. And none of what he had here will matter one iota there.

I doubt Ted Turner and Barbara Walters ever saw it.
The impression one gets of Cuba is a decrepit country that’s a museum to the failure of Communism.
Of course, don’t expect those who idolize the Castro Brothers to see what they’ve done to the country.

It just proves the basic fact about dictators: They’re just thieves with power.

The Hollywood elite’s worship of this SOB has always been an extremely repulsive spectacle. What would I give to have anyone of them to really experience life there with the jails, etc, sort of like the late Vic Morrow’s sequence in the 1983 “Twilight Zone” movie (yes I know Morrow died accidentally during the production of that part of the movie).
