Despite what the Pentagon says, on a lot of military message boards that usually have pretty good info, the word is that all of these women failed badly. By the standards by which Ranger School has operated in the past these women would have been returned to their units, not allowed to recycle.

I would not surprised to learn that this is correct. I expect that all decisions will be examined with a microscope. If no one succeeds, the hue and cry will begin to lower the standards.

So now there possibly 8 slots that would normally have gone to those who had the best chance of passing the recycle training given up to PC.
