Cruz voted NO on cloture. That tells everyone where his principles reside.
One should not compare Cruz with Obama. Obama is a con whereas Cruz is the real deal.
Cruz came out right away with an explanation why he voted yes. He keeps everyone appraised of where he’s at in political battles. You don’t see that in any other candidates.
As for people blindly following Cruz, that is something that does not exist. Cruz has been followed here for years now and people here have had a lot to time to evaluate him for his sincerity. He has excelled and continues to excel beyond everyone’s expectations. The only other person that comes close to him in sincerity and communication ability is Sarah Palin, but she’s not a candidate.

I’m not so sure the Cruz would truly appreciate your “compliment.” If he gets anointed by conservatives as the second-coming of Sarah Palin, then I’d say his national career is in grave danger.
