It is a wiser move IMO to stick with FOAD and then during the campaign, have the issue to crucify liberal GOP with.
and it gives his detractors, who cling to anything they can divide conservatives one less weapon.
In the big scheme it’s not gonna kill him or really hurt him but it IMO does nothing to HELP him.
