The United Way lost a lot of donations over their denial of funds to the BSA. They deserved to, and not just because of their BSA maltreatment, or because they were paying their senior executives like maharajahs while rattling the cup at people's places of employment in gently arm-twisting ways.
They're a study in what's wrong with Big Philanthropy.
