But you don't know ANY that found the woman they married different from the one they dated.....?
99% of the time they were deluding themselves. And by the way this goes for men AND women. They claim the person they married changed, but in most cases it was screaming obvious to everyone else beforehand. Sorry, but a lot of people going into marriage are wearing blinders.
I know one man whose wife seemed to change after about 18 years. I know one woman whose fiance I didn't know very well, but seemed nice enough, but turned out to be a total maniac.
Our courts do reward people for acting badly in divorce to a criminal degree.
I'm one of those. My first marriage was like that. She changed...NO JOKE...right after we walked down the isle after saying I Do. Not kidding...it was INSTANT. We stood outside while they dismissed the church, then we walked back in to take pictures....and I was thinking the whole time "what have I done....and he the heck IS this?"
She wanted out of her parents house. They had money and she wanted to be out from under their roof. She was a Totally different person within 1 minute of "kissing the bride"....and I noticed it. She had shown her true colors only once before (about 1 month before the wedding) but it wasn't enough to scare me away...
Just thankful we had no kids together...and thankful we were young and didn't have anything to fight over.
