I've actually had women get pissed when I held a door open. She looked at me and said "I can open MY OWN door." I just looked at her and said, "then you can find your own way home too" and left her there.
Never heard from her again. Can't figure out why.

Your post reminds me of a FReeper comment years ago. A senior citizen woman mouthed off about the door being opened for her just because she was a woman. FReeper replied, “I didn’t open it because you’re a woman, I opened it because you’re old”.
