It is not unethical to discuss the evidence. There is not to my knowledge, a gag order. And it may not be relevant whether the knife is legal or not but the question is whether under the facts and circumstances the arresting officer reasonably believed that the knife was illegal.

There can be no gag order because nothing has been presented to a judge. I don’t think anyone can issue a gag order.
