Good for Geller, she in effect set a trap and killed two jihadists. These media pundits condemning her free speech, ought to re-educate themselves on the first amendment. It was ok when a crucifix was emerged in a jar of urine or when a portrait of the virgin was smeared with elephant dung.
She should have done a Cartoon Jesus contest as well—maybe a draw Buddah or a Draw Moses? By doing so it would have made its point—Islamic people are nuts. But singling out Mohammed gave the liberals ammunition to say it was her fault. They missed the point of the whole thing.
The 1st Amendment does not protect Geller at an event like this unless it is the government who is attacking her.
I really wish people would not conflate free speech (the general concept) with the 1st Amendment, which is very specific in prohibiting on only the government from infringing on free speech.
In the Garland event, the government (police) were protecting her. So it was not an attack on her 1st Amendment rights.
