This story is fascinating on several levels. First, the number of kneepad media outlets that are running with it. An interesting amount of projection going on.
Secondly, its something to watch the politicians tiptoe around the 500 lb gorilla in the living room: the possibility of Texas secessipn. Its like if no one mentions it, maybe it’ll just magically go away. A silly strategy for otherwise bright people whom I respect.

I grew up in Texas, and that's pretty funny. IMO, real Texans should eject the millions who migrated from other states for jobs over the past few decades. Then, there wouldn't be any crazy talk there.
