So I guess my BS detector was working even then.Which made you more qualified to vote than most 26 year olds.
Personally, I would like to see the voting age raised to age 26 with exceptions for the following:
- People serving in the military.
- People working full time and paying taxes.
- People who can pass a reasonably difficult test covering civics, government, history and economics.

When I was 26 I cast a reluctant vote for McCain and swore to never participate in another campaign again. I may have to break that in 2016 if we have a conservative nominee.
